Each year we take the kiddos to a pumpkin patch or apple orchard. We explored a new farm this year around Madison that had plenty of special activities for the kids. It cost a bit extra than our usual pumpkin experience but it was worthwhile.
Oh, and coolest slide ever? Check.
Tire pit? Check. Nothing says "autumn" more than a tire pit, right?
Faux cow milking? Check.
Giant corn pit? Check.
Of course we had to check out the chickens.
We also did a horse-drawn hayride, pumpkin patch, ate some kettle corn, crawled around in a hayloft, and did a little rocking horseback riding.
And we brought home some tired, dirty kids.
I absolutely encourage anyone to go to a pumpkin patch/apple orchard for the fresh air, the food, the scenery. It's amazing. Hands down, the best time we've had together in awhile. I love these kids. Especially when they're tired.
What do you like to do in autumn?
